Looking for the right lampshade? My best advice, in a few words is “Bring us your lamps”. We have been in the lampshade and lamp business for 35 years, and have found that our most satisfied customer brings lamps, tries several different shades, and then selects the best one for the particular space. The same lamp may have a larger shade in a great room with overstuffed furniture on a large endtable, or a smaller shade in a bedroom on a dresser or a small nightstand. So consider the space and the other lamps and shades in the room before you buy a new shade.
You can bring sample fabrics, paint swatches, etc. to match colors too. Available shade styles range from contemporary drums, boxy squares and rectangles to more traditional, elegant silk shades. We can order a variety of shade sizes, shapes and fabrics from several American manufacturers, as well as imported silk shades. Lots of chandelier shades are in stock, and customers are encouraged to take them home to try them.
We have unique porcelain, bronze, nickel and jade lamps in stock. We can order lamps from several sources too. Many decorative finials, which are the “lamp tops” that attach the shade to the lamp, are available. Finials are a great addition to any lamp, the “finishing touch” at the top.
